The Diplomatics Releasing New Album After 14 Years

The Harlem hip-hop group The Diplomats, which included Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Freekey Zekey, and Juelz Santana, are returning with a brand-new album.

The album named, Diplomatic Ties, will be the group’s first album in 14 years. It is set to be released on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22nd. The day after the album is released, the group will be having a released show at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

The Diplomats, also known as Dipset, have been on tour for the past few months and been hinting at a project since November of last year. Jim Jones has also announced on his Instagram that the group will be releasing a documentary a week after the album release and that more announcements will be coming.

The group’s last album, Diplomatic Immunity 2, was released in 2004. Since then, they have released a few tracks together in more recent years. The Tracks include, “Stronger,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Do Something,” and “Have My Money.”
