Record Breaking Year for 98.5 KLUC’s 14th Annual Toy Drive

width=Record breaking numbers again from 98.5 KLUC’s 14th Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive benefitting HELP of Southern Nevada.

Chet Buchanan, host of 98.5 KLUC’s Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo, lived atop a 30-foot high scaffolding for 12 straight days, raising awareness to the Las Vegas valley about the less fortunate kids & families in our community. Last year, we raised $201,012 in cash & gift cards, collected 2,647 bikes, and filled 16 trucks. This year, we’ve surpassed all the goals with:

18 Toy Filled 53 Foot Semi-Trailers
3,280 Bikes Collected
$268,000 in Cash & Gift Cards

This wouldn’t have been possible without the Las Vegas community, and local celebrities such as Holly Madison, Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf, Criss Angel, Coco, 50 Cent, Jeff Timmons, Rick Harrison & Chum Lee of Pawn Stars, Tryst & XS, and many more. Visit www.KLUC.com for the full recap of the twelve days!

Thank you again to all our sponsors: NV Energy, Walmart & Sam’s Club, Century Link, Centennial Toyota, Nevada State Bank, Chevron, Walgreens, Palms & N9ne Group, Doctor’s Express, G. Dallas Horton, The Jewelers of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Carpenter’s Union, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Blue Star Barricades, Sin City Portables, and Cooling & Power Rentals!
