Pete DJ Jones, Hip Hop Pioneer Dies

Rest in Peace Pete “dj Jones”! He was an early “sound system”/hip-hop pioneer, throwing parties in the Bronx throughout the 70’s and early 80’s often battling dj Kool Herc. He also appeared on WBLS early on. He was 79.  Find out more about Pete in the video
