Pepsi to Add Pop to THE X FACTOR Grand Prize

In addition to a previously announced $5 Million recording contract with Syco Entertainment/Sony Music Entertainment, provided by the show’s , this year’s winner will also receive production and creative support to develop, create, record and shoot their first original track and . The prize culminates when the winner’s single airs as a Pepsi music video during the live telecast of the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards ®, Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, on CBS.

This prize will thrust the second season’s winner of THE X FACTOR ® into the spotlight on Music’s Biggest Night ® by debuting their first track and video in a Pepsi commercial before music’s elite and millions of fans around the world. Pepsi has a long and storied history of partnering with musical talent from breaking to global , and is once again paving the way to creatively launch the career of an American Pop Star.
