Indy’s Music Channel Gets Power Increase

’s has been granted permission to increase power from 40,000 watts to 150,000 watts. We will also be moving from Channel 65 to a more desirable Channel 19 at the same time. We have purchased a new TV transmitter and new broadcasting antenna. Our location will be right in the middle of the city on a 500 foot tall near I-70 and Emerson Ave. These upgrades will greatly improve our signal, and enable IMC-TV to be placed on TV systems in the outer suburbs. We also are making plans to go digital in the near future.

We have also recently installed and activated equipment to provide closed captioning for the hearing impaired, and Emergency Alert Systems to provide viewers with immediate and automatic weather, flooding, and tornado warnings. We are committed to providing the highest quality programming and service to the Indianapolis community.

The construction of our new building is being done by All American Buildings 866-884-3887. We will be following the progress here on our web site. Check out the pictures below. This is an exciting time for Indy’s Music Channel. Watch Us Grow!
