iHeartMedia Tampa Bay announced today that Nick Wize has been named Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive host for 93.3 FLZ, Tampa Bay’s #1 Hit Music Channel, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Tampa Bay has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than nine stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Assistant Program Director for 93.3 FLZ, Wize will assist the Program Director guiding the station’s music and programming content, as well as its personalities and digital extensions. He will report to Tommy Chuck, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay and Program Director for 93.3 FLZ.

Wize has served as Assistant Program Director and on-air personality for iHeartMedia Tuscon’s 93.7 KRQ, Today’s Hit Music with Johnjay & Rich In The Morning, since May 2018. His previous experience includes various on-air and programming roles in Detroit; New York City; Jacksonville, Florida; and Panama City, Florida.
