Clear Channel, Fox Sports extend radio network relationship

Fox Sports Enterprises and Premiere Radio Networks have extended their long-time relationship for Fox Sports Radio Network.

It has been 10 years since Fox Sports and Premiere launched Fox Sports Radio. The two companies have renewed their long-term agreement to continue producing and distributing content through Fox Sports Radio in the United States and Canada. The network is also unveiling a new logo and new programming.

Specific terms were not disclosed. Premiere is a radio syndication subsidiary of San Antonio-based Clear Channel Communications Inc. (OTCBB: CCMO).

Fox Sports Radio hosts shows by a number of America’s leading sports personalities including Stephen A. Smith, Dan Patrick, Jim Rome, Matt “Money””Smith and Tony Bruno. Fox Sports Radio is heard on nearly 400 radio station affiliates in the United States and Canada as well as FoxSportsRadio.com, XM Satellite Radio channel 142 and the Armed Forces Radio Network.

Fox Sports Television Group has been America’s top-rated sports network for the last 13 years. Fox holds the television rights to Major League Baseball, the National Football League’s NFC games and NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Clear Channel’s Premiere Radio Networks subsidiary syndicates 90 radio programs and serves more than 5,000 radio stations.
