iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel) Admits Wrongdoing “Voter Fraud” Billboards Coming Down in Cleveland and..

BUSTED Breaking their OWN POLICY? After major national protests for iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel) billboards by an “anonymous” buyer strategically placed in Black and Latino neighborhoods discouraging Black and Latino voters from voting are finally being removed. iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel)‘s Jim Cullinan, vice president of corporate communications for iHeartmedia (formerly Clear Channel) Outdoor, said in a statement: “We reviewed the situation, and in light of the fact that these billboards violate our policy of not accepting anonymous political ads, we asked the client how they would prefer to work with us to bring the boards into conformance with our policy.” The buyer was asked to reveal who he we mean they were and Mitt they declined and opted to take the Billboards down instead.   One can only guess who the “client” is but if this is CC’s policy, not to support political statements if the buyer is not revealed, why did they go up in the first place? Heads should roll for this and if they do we’ll keep you posted.
