Art Laboe Sells Out, Makes History

 width=Art Laboe, a , entrepreneur and concert promoter, has SOLD OUT!   his next concert, the Art Laboe Show LIVE, this Friday May 13th at the downtown Los Angeles.   Laboe did shows at the Orpheum in the late 1950s and 1960s and is making his return to this historic venue by hosting performances R & B/Old School artists:   Zapp,  Peaches & Herb, The Temprees, Blue Magic, Barbara Lynn, MC Magic, Sophia Maria, Aalon and Sly, Slick & Wicked.   They will be performing some of the most request and dedicated songs from Laboe’s syndicated radio show, the Art Laboe Connection, which is heard nightly on KHHT Hot 92.3 Los Angeles.   Hot 92.3 is his flagship affiliate station that supported Laboe to SELL OUT.

 width=Laboe’s radio show comes alive again the next night, Saturday May 14th, at the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts on the Las Vegas Strip. Laboe is expected to SELL OUT here too with the support of his affiliate KOAS 105.7 The Oasis Las Vegas.



ART LABOE coined and trademarked the phrase “Oldies But Goodiesâ„¢”.   He was the first DJ to play Rock and Roll on the radio in the 1950s and is still broadcasting today with his syndicated show, The Art Laboe Connection, 7pm-12am Sunday-Friday heard on multiple stations including KHHT Hot 92.3 Los Angeles and KOAS 105.7 The Oasis Las Vegas.
