93.9 FM WKYS WELCOMES NEW PROGRAM DIRECTOR

(Washington, DC – June 15, 2017)Radio One DC is excited to announce Joshua “J1” Raiford as Program Director of 93.9 FM WKYS, the DMV’s #1 in Hip Hop and R&B, effective Monday, July 17, 2017. J1 joins WKYS from Radio One Indianapolis where he was Program Director for Hot 96.3 and Boom 102.9, and weekend personality on Hot 96.3.

Originally from Harlem, New York, J1 earned his bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College. Through hard work and determination, he advanced in the radio industry while earning his master’s degree from Georgia State University.
