Thursday morning concert features MTV & Nickelodeon stars
WHTD-FM / HOT 102.7 presents the 7th Annual Russ Bus Tour tomorrow, July 31, 2008 @ the Max M. Fisher Music Center with a FREE live performance from Diddy’s latest R&B group Day 26, which was formed on the fourth season of MTV’s Making the Band . This free concert event, hosted by HOT 102.7’s Russ Parr Morning Show and other Hot 102.7 on-air personalities, is broadcast live nationwide during the normal Friday morning broadcast from 6 AM through 10 AM. During commercial breaks, the personalities will giveaway over $2,000 in FREE gas. The concert component is hosted by Lil JJ, the host of the Nickelodeon series Just Jordan.
“This is the 7th year of the concert tour, which has featured artists such as Bow Wow, Chris Brown and Ciara in years past,” said HOT 102.7 promotions director Ced Lover. “Since Day 26 brings the experience of two seasons under the bright lights of MTV and Lil JJ boasts one of the most popular Nickelodeon shows, we are expected a stellar show.” The show will also feature performances from other national recording artists such as: Pleasure P (formerly of the platinum selling group Pretty Ricky), Jazmine Sullivan, Maino, Keri Hilson and others.
