93.5 The Beat in LA has appointed production director Adrian “AD” Scott to OM. He will retain his production duties and replace Theo as PD so that Theo can concentrate on his new syndicated show Theo after Dark. Steve Smith is the consultant and the station has dropped the Wendy Williams show, this shortly after dropping The Monique Show. Micheal Baisden and Steve Harvey will remain. KDAY market manager/GM Karla Santos says, “We needed to get back to serving the needs of our listeners, and the fastest way to do that was a music intensive format.”
