Philadelphia, WDAS FM (Clear Channel Worldwide): WDAS FM, CBS 3 and the American Red Cross will honor music legend Kenny Gamble, former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson and community activist Michael A Benson Sr. with the second annual WDAS FM Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Medal. The award will honor three extraordinary Delaware Valley individuals who exemplify the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The WDAS FM 2008 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Medal will be awarded on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at the Prince Music Theater at 1412 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia hosted by WDAS Personality Patty Jackson and CBS 3 anchor Ukee Washington. A reception will be held from 5:30-6:30 PM and the awards will be presented from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Theater. Co-sponsored by CBS-3 and the American Red Cross Blood Services.
