New York Times is reporting that Mario “Perez Hilton” Lavenderia is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros Records to have his own boutique label. The paper is reporting that Perez’s music hype purportedly helped unsigned singer-songwriter ERIC HUTCHINSON. Soon after the site raved about his music and linked to some of his tunes, HUTCHINSON’s album cracked the Top 10 on iTUNES. In addition when Hilton talked up dance-pop group ULTRAVIOLET SOUND, the numbers of visitors to the band ‘s MYSPACE site roughly tripled and elicited the interest of club bookers according to band members.
