After swearing off drinking and driving, former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Vivica A. Fox has been booked on a drunken driving charge that could subject her to a $1,000 fine and a jail term as long as six months. Fox, 43, walked into a Northridge police station Wednesday and was fingerprinted and photographed, officer Ana Aguirre said. The booking process took less than 25 minutes and Fox was released without bail, she said.
A call to Fox’s manager seeking comment was not immediately returned Wednesday.
Fox was ordered by a judge on Monday to turn herself in or face a warrant for her arrest.
Fox was stopped in the San Fernand o Valley on March 20 by California Highway Patrol officers who said her 2007 Cadillac Escalade was doing 80 mph and weaving on the Ventura Freeway.
