Details are sketchy at this time but it is reported that he was found dead in a hotel room at Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood, California.
UPDATE: The Los Angeles Police Department reports that the family of the entertainer called the hotel repeatedly last night after they could not locate him and hotel staff finally went to the room at 9am this morning and discovered him lying in bed “expired.” There is a current homicide investigation in pursuit which is normal procedure in cases where it appears someone has died outside of natural causes. The police are not saying that this is a homicide as of yet until the investigation is complete…
