According to several sources, Tyler Perry is casting Kathy Bates and Jennifer Hudson, both Oscar winners, in a new production The Family That Prays. Filming is set to start this month. He is also working on a production that will certainly defy Hollywood’s age old racist lie AGAIN about black movies not being of interest to anyone outside of the black community if there is not a white lead. Angela Bassett and Denzel Washington are said to be the leads in a new production, it is possible that it’s the same move (Family that Prays). The director was very hush hush at a recent press conference about details. Filming will start this month. On another Tyler Perry note House of Payne is FINALLY coming together. I’m still not laughing but it’s MUCH better than it was in the beginning.
