10 Best Rappers: The rapper formally known as Snoop Dogg has made an extraordinary mark on hip hop. Although in more recent years, Snoop has become sort of brand and/or gimmick, there is no denying that the Long Beach native is one the best to ever do it. From the moment he stepped on the scene when everyone was wondering who is that rapper on the “Deep Cover” single to the emergence of Snoop Lion, he has a crazy ability to freestyle, a classic album in the form of “Doggystyle,” and one the coolest flows on the planet.
What? No ICE CUBE? Figures…East Coast never had love for him. You can’t deny his skillz…

Same ole same old school east coast bias. Its all a matter of opinion. Ask people from the south and the list would be totally different. Even the your east coast fans would have a different list.
Its funny your say that. Actually a panel chose these rappers. The panel consisted of a DJ from North Carolina. A Texas based Hip Hop magazine owner. A Chicago producer. A St. Louis female fan of hip-hop, An Australian rapper, A Chicago based freelance music writer, a West Coast radio personality, and a female R&B songwriter from the Bay. We started with a list of 50 rappers and narrowed it down from there.
