Rapper Vanilla Ice will not face charges for domestic battery after his case was dropped by prosecutors, according to reports.
The star -- real name Robert Van Winkle -- had been arrested and told to keep away from his wife, Laura, after his arrest earlier this month.
It is believed Laura called police to report her husband was hitting and kicking her at their Palm Beach County, Fla., home on April 10.
But the charges were dropped on Tuesday, after Laura retracted her statement and there were no independent witnesses to the alleged assault.
