USA TODAY AIRPLAY CHARTS COMPILED BY MEDIABASE DEBUT TODAY ON CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO STATION WEBSITES

The USA TODAY Airplay Charts compiled by Mediabase will debut today on the websites of all Clear Channel Radio music stations. The charts will cover 12 music genres, including Top 40, Country, Alternative, Urban and many others. Further, the charts will integrate relevant on-demand links to music videos and song lyrics as well as links to buy songs on iTunes and ringtones.
This offering complements the wide array of on-demand content already available on Clear Channel’s network of radio station websites, including music videos, exclusive artist performances, station-created comedy bits, celebrity interviews and much more, driving approximately 11 million unique visitors to Clear Channel’s network of radio station websites each month, according to comScore Media Metrix.
Recently, Mediabase formed an unprecedented partnership with USA TODAY to publish weekly charts that run in the LIFE section of the newspaper as well as on USATODAY.com. The charts are also used by nationally syndicated shows such as American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, American Top 10 (and 20) with Casey Kasem and The Jeff Foxworthy Countdown.
