D&R Radio Sales, an Interep company, announced today that it has signed an agreement with ESPN Radio to provide national ad sales representation to five of the group’s stations. The stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Pittsburgh were previously represented by ABC Radio Sales.

Kevin Cassidy, President of D&R Radio Sales, said, "ESPN is the first name in sports and we are thrilled to be representing this fine collection of radio stations. There are few brands as iconic as ESPN, and there are few emotions as strong as those between a fan and his or her team. Put the two together - apply radio as the delivery mechanism - and you have the perfect recipe for compelling entertainment. The ESPN stations, in combination with our existing lineup of sports properties, make D&R a significant player in the arena of national sports sales!”

Tim McCarthy, New York Market Manager for ESPN Radio, added, “We believe our association with D&R Radio will be a long and successful one. They have the know-how, the contacts and the creative thinking to help the ESPN brand derive full value in the marketplace.”
