FYI, I did not do the yellow ad libs on the pic. Question: Ice T legendary rapper and certainly a respected entity and brand . But at 50 is this how we should present ourselves with that kind of legendary status? Sh…, even Luke and Madonna have calmed down. After watching the video about his unprovoked verbal attack on hitmaker Soulja Boy, where he told Soulja Boy to “Eat a Dick” then went on to say “I might be wrong for attacking Soulja Boy…” I concur, he is. Soulja Boy is over 30 years his junior. That’s enough years to plop Kanye West, another established rapper’s entire life span, 31 years, smack dab in the middle of the two of them. Then to take it to a west coast, east coast (even the MENTION) situation? After what we saw what took place a decade ago? There are hot rappers in every market right now but Atlanta is on FIRE. That’s just the way it is, today’s kids LIKE Soulja Boy and older artists who have had their run should step aside and make room for the new.
Whenever I see Ice on Law and Order, I have a new respect for him, even though I do agree with Soulja Boy, it’s ironic that he would be playing a cop after expressing so much hatred for them in his song “Cop Killer.” But when he goes back to his heyday with this type of rhetoric, I don’t get it, I just don’t get it. I have NO comment about Ice T’s wife Coco and their interesting antics.
