Jermaine Dupri has been noticeably absent for the limelight along with girlfriend Janet Jackson for the past couple of months. Dupri has taken a LOT of heat for putting a major dent in Janet’s iconic status and hurting her album sales by refusing to use her previous hitmaking ingredients (Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) Speaking of “ingredients” looks like the cooks are fresh out as Dupri’s Atlanta restaurant Cafe Dupri has shut down “indefinitely” No notice to workers who were scratching their heads when they came to work. In this news report the former employees, most who signed confidentiality agreements, didn’t talk but one employee who did not sign one did. She states the checks have not cashed for weeks (and you still continued to work there?) and were not even accepted at check cashing places in Atlanta. Cecelia “Tina” Mauldin – JDs Mom – made derogatory statements about the employees as a result of the sudden closing, as if THEY are responsible.. Like I said, Mom and Pop y’all… (watch video)…
