OH NO: Dude from Last Dragon Dies










The Chicago Tribune reports that Julius Carry, III, the actor who played one of the memorable characters from Black Cinema died of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 56. Carry, III is best remembered as the villain character Sho’Nuff from Berry Gordy’s campy ‘The Last Dragon’, which made Taimak a celebrity and also starred singers Vanity and the group DeBarge. One of the best lines from the 1985 film was ‘Who da mastah?’ to which many answered ‘Sho’nuff!’

The Chicago native had a TV and film career that lasted almost three decades in which he land ed a steady stream of acting job on TV shows including ‘The Jeffersons,’ ‘Family Matters,’ ‘JAG’ and ‘The Unit.’
