NEW YORK RADIO STATION 101.9 RXP OFFERING CHARITIES A CHANCE AT $10,000 DONATION TO ASSIST IN DOWN ECONOMY
Station offering charitable contribution based on public online vote in light of the challenging economy and its negative effect on charity donations this Holiday season.
New York rock station 101.9 RXP “The New York Rock Experience” is offering charities a chance to attain a $10,000 donation in light of the challenging economy. As part of their local commitment to the tri-state, 101.9 RXP is offering a $10,000 monetary donation to the locally serving charity organization that attains the most public votes in a free online charity vote drive at 1019RXP.com.
Charities can gain free exposure and the chance to attain the $10,000 donation simply by sending the following information to rsilverman@emmisny.com:
1. Contact’s name
2. Contact’s phone number
3. Charity title
4. Charity mission and /or positioning statement (25 words or less)
5. Charity’s web address (must be a 501C3 organization)
101.9 RXP will list the charity name and positioning statement on www.1019RXP.com beginning December 15th, 2008 along with the option for the public to “vote” for your charity to receive the $10,000 donation. The charity with the most votes will attain the $10,000 funds, and second and third place charities will receive 10 concert tickets to a 2009 RXP rock concert.
National and local charities are all encouraged to submit information for inclusion in this opportunity by the December 14th, 2009 deadline. RXP will end the voting on January 30th and notify the winners via the phone number and e-mail address provided.
