Grammy Award winning superproducer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and his wife vocalist Joy Enriquez became the proud parents of Rodney David Jerkins Jr. on May 28, 2008 at 2:44 p.m. in Los Angeles, CA. He weighed 8 lbs., 9 oz. and was 20-1/2″ long at birth. This is the first child for the happy couple.
The first photo of the new family will appear in JET Magazine’s July 7th issue, on newsstand s on June 30.
New dad Rodney is still busy in the studio, currently working on new music for Brand y, Beyonce, Fantasia, Mario, New Kids On The Block (reunion album), the Black Eyed Peas and others.
Rodney’s newest release on the scene is the P*#sycat Dolls’ new song, “When I Grow Up,” which he produced and co-wrote with Nicole Scherzinger of the P*#sycat Dolls. The song is featured in a new Bally’s Total Fitness tv commercial.
