98.7 KISS FM announces the unstoppable trendsetter, DJ Funkmaster Flex, as the new 98.7 KISS FM Mixshow Coordinator.
Over the years, Funkmaster Flex has been one of New York’s #1 radio personalities and will now take lead of KISS FM’s sound-spinning master mixers including Kool DJ Red Alert, DJ Chuck Chillout, DJ Darryl James and Ruben Toro.
“Funkmaster Flex and his #1 rated evening show will continue to be a fixture on HOT 97…and now we welcome his involvement and behind the scenes guidance on WRKS as the new 98.7 KISS FM Mixshow Coordinator,” said Emmis New York Market Manager, Dan Halyburton.
Within the last year, Flex has been instrumental in bringing radio legends Kool DJ Red Alert and DJ Chuck Chillout back home to KISS FM. Along with still reaching over two million listeners per week to date on his HOT 97 radio show, 7p to midnight, Flex has also had international television success with his own car customizing shows on ESPN and SPIKE TV. Along with being an entrepreneur, producer and nationally known spokesman, Flex will now add 98.7 KISS FM Mixshow Coordinator to his notable roster of duties.
