Actually this is a great choice, I think Mary can nail it. She will be playing the legendary Nina Simone in Cynthia Mort’s “Nina,” a movie about legendary singer Nina Simone. The film focuses on Simone’s eclectic personality and her relationship with her former assistant Clifton Henderson. The movie is being financed with a 10 million dollar budget. William Morris Endeavor’s Global Finance & Distribution Group brought the film to U.K. production, finance and studio facility operator Ealing Studios.
