Mariah Carey Celebrates Christmas In February

A huge storm has blanketed the U.S. northeast region, dumping more than two feet of snow. Singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and philanthropist Mariah Carey has adapted to the storm in a unique fashion, staging in her household a “Re-Christmas Day” less than a week before Valentine’s Day.
An uploaded video shows Mariah and friends in festive spirits, with one of her own Christmas songs blaring in the background. Carey: “I am sitting in front of the roaring fire with the snow gently cascading down the pillars in the garden. It’s truly quite festive and fabulous. I wish you could all be here with me.”
Carey is the recipient of 31 Billboard Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 5 Grammys. Carey is currently one of the judges on American Idol’s 12th season, and her 14th studio album is set for release next month.
An exuberant Carey takes the video camera at one point and begins to document/narrate the scene — whilst holding the camera upside down. Carey jokes that she walked from New York to Connecticut to get the Christmas tree for the occasion.
