Lupe Fiasco tells Tavis how he sneaks difficult, social subject matter into his music in order to get airplay. Very intelligent brother who is a prime example of how the new urban industry entertainers have learned to understand marketing and stretching the proverbial”15 Minutes.” Don’t know what label he’s on, would like to get this CD for review.. Also, worked with Tavis at KKBT in LA in the early 90′s. I have a lot of respect for him and what he’s been through even at that station. Will profile him soon. Kev .
