According to the Associated Press, rapper Dwayne Michael “Lil Wayne” Carter Jr., 25, has been indicted on felony drug and weapons charges. Charges include: narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the indictment. Lil Wayne pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday. He will continue his current tour and will be back in court on March 7.
Wayne’s tour bus was stopped by US Border Patrol on Jan 22 new Yuma, AZ. Federal agents found marijuana, cocaine and Ecstasy with drug paraphernalia. At that point Wayne was arrested. This past October he was also sued for sampling other artists’ songs without paying licensing fees.
