Just a note to say I’ve been incredibly busy these past couple of weeks and I’m working on some very exciting things which I will let you know about soon.
Fake Friends
Selfishness and greed are the roots of all true evil. Make sure you surround yourself with the right people. Eliminate those who are shrouded in their own selfishness and will ask the world of you and not offer anything in return. Limit your time and energy for selfish, lazy, delusional low energy, dishonest vampires. There are friends, associates and users. Make sure you know who you are dealing with.
Press Releases
I get BOMBARDED with press releases. BOMBARDED and I’d love to run more of them but there are a few rules I am asking publicists and PR people to take into consideration. All caps in a headline is one of the main ways bloggers will NOT run your release. It means we will have to rewrite the title… why? Extremely LONG titles. To add insult to injury, many of those same people send the press releases with all caps and a paragraph for a title on top of that. Please be considerate if you want to be considered. #3 bloggers know the difference between a Press Release and an Ad. This is another way to get your information rejected.
Tom Joyner
I would seriously like to thank Tom Joyner for waking up my energy to be creative and innovative again. The horrific interview that he did with Mary Harvey FINALLY made me realize I could not be effective by talking about how screwed up urban radio is, I have to DO something and I’m doing it. Thanks again Tom. I am moving on from my ‘pissed off’ soapbox position.
Charlie Sheen
Finally, Charlie Sheen is ill to the amusement of the entire country. It’s most unfortunate that we are amused by someone having a nervous breakdown on a national platform. Mental illness exists in this country and we should not treat those who suffer as criminals and comedians.

Keep your head up Brother. I don’t know you personally but I respect what you’re trying to accomplish. I encourage you to stay strong, push forward. You are on the verge of something big. I hope to join you soon. It takes courage to clean house…Only the movers and shakers do.
