Finally Smiley
OK I wanted to give the other trades an opportunity to AT LEAST be late on this story and act like they got it first (see I try) but as you KNOW… I was first on it and knew for months. The Rickey Smiley Morning Show adds CBS Orland o ’s 102 JAMZ and it started this morning. The irony of the story, that I kept mentioning, is this is the same place Steve Harvey tapes Family Feud.
V103 and T.I.
I must admit, even I was suspicious when I heard that T.I. talked a man down off a ledge, in a suicide attempt, from a building that ironically housed WVEE (V103). The event brought the city to a stand still in midtown Atlanta during Ryan Cameron’s afternoon drive show.. a day BEFORE T.I.’s hearing last week (which inevitably revoked his probation and is sending him back to jail for 11 more months).
I thought to myself, would anybody that I know at V be that fooking stupid? My answer was no. The station has rarely been involved in scand als and I don’t think it was any kind of hoax or that anyone at the station would put their job on the line. As far as T.I. taking advantage of the situation in the hopes that the judge would give him a lighter sentence… I don’t know that either. It certainly would not have hurt him and if he could have saved a life in the process why not. . Read more on the story here.
Murphy’s Slaw
Damn, could this be the shortest run of a syndication show EVER… last week I talked about Skip Murphy and Citadel trying to get that show off the ground with 1 station WCCG thus far. Well, since then the station terminated the team and brought back former morning host Big Bruce this morning. I’m not trying to destroy anyone’s dream so I will leave this alone.

Damn does the poster need anyone to clean his toilets and fook his wife? This is absolutely absurd. The “potential” for full time.. what… if you don’t drop dead from EXHAUSTION first?
