I remember being 7 and my mother and her best friend Hattie playing “I Stand Accused” until the record turned white, while they drank beer. I ran in the house crying and told them to “please turn that sh… off.” (laugh)… I told Isaac about that when I was in NY a few years back and he laughed. He was HUGE back in those days and everybody in the whole subdivision was playing that album. Isaac NEVER aged. These pictures are 35 years apart and he looks the exactly the same. In addition, Isaac’s career was based mostly on remaking everybody else’s songs. To my knowledge his BIGGEST hit was one of his only originals The Theme from SHAFT.
