Sean Levert, brother of the late Gerald Levert is going to prison for 22 months for not paying child support that totals over $84,000 for his three kids 11, 15 and 17.
The super tough exterior was broken down when rapper Remy Ma was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for shooting her former friend Markeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach “by mistake” according to her attorneys. Ironically, the jury had a hard time making a decision but finally opted to charge the rapper with four counts that could land her in jail for a whopping 25 years. She left the courtroom weeping yesterday and was not able to tell her 8 year old son she would not be returning home when she left for court yesterday.
I don’t know how in the HELL Clifford T.I. Barnes did it but he got a VERY light sentence for FEDERAL gun charges from this past Oct. 15 months probation and 1 year in jail. The rapper obviously had excellent council and instruction, part of which was to serve the community, which he has been doing. Including speaking at a church this past weekend on the dangers of HIV/AIDS. To his attorney’s credit, this is a great move because most rappers don’t do this kind of community service and it was probably impressive to the court.
