NY Police are investigating the death of popular Hot 97 DJ Megatron in a shooting on Staten Island this weekend. Corey McGriff, aka “DJ Megatron,” 32 was shot in his stomach around 2 a.m. on Osgood Avenue in Clifton and was pronounced dead at the scene. Thus far, no arrest have been made. McGriff was on Hot 97 and he also appeared on the popular BET show “106 and Park.”
A statement from Hot’s management states, “McGriff will “always be remembered as a great person. He was genuine, sincere and always positive.” We will keep you posted of services.
