Tyson narrowly – and unwittingly – escaped a rubout attempt in
retaliation for putting a contract on drug thugs responsible for
murdering his bodyguard, a government witness testified Monday.
When the Cash Money Brothers learned of the $50,000 bounty Tyson had
placed on their heads for killing the ex-heavyweight champ’s loyal
aide, the crack crew’s leader Damion (World) Hardy responded in kind.
Shelby Henderson, a crew associate, recalled Monday the discussion
about whacking Tyson at a party hosted by Hardy’s mom. She was
celebrating the murder of a man who killed another son of hers in drug
