El Patrón 95.5 FM Announces New On-Air Personalities

BetoEl Patrón 95.5 FM announced that Beto Carreto has joined the station as its new Morning Show Host and Karina Arceo has expanded her role with the station to host evenings. Beto hosts weekday mornings from 5-10:00 a.m. and Saturdays from 6-10:00 a.m. with Karina hosting weeknights from 7:00 p.m. to midnight and Sunday mornings from 6-10:00 a.m.
Carreto, the newest member of the El Patrón team, is no stranger to Chicago radio. He began his radio career in 1990 at WOPA 1200 AM, where he worked multiple shifts during his four years at the station. Carreto later worked at WOJO 105.1 FM, La X 1200 AM and La Ley 107.9, where he helped to deliver top ratings and served as a spokesperson for national clients.
“I’m thrilled to be on-air in Chicago, the third largest market of the United States Chicago,” said Carreto. “I couldn’t be happier to join the Clear Channel Chicago and El Patrón 95.5 team.”
Arceo, also known as La Muñequita, graduated from Columbia College with a degree in radio production. She has past experience in programming, production, on-air and voice-over work with companies such as Spanish Broadcasting System, Telemundo and HBO Latino. Since 2011 Arceo has been at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Chicago and is currently Production Director and can also be heard on-air on El Patrón 95.5 FM discussing important community topics on Sunday mornings.
