On The Heels Of Receiving Six BET Award Nominations Set to Perform Four Songs On The Today Show’s Summer Outdoor Concert Series July 15
New York, NY – Chris Brown’s fourth studio album F.A.M.E continues to produce chart-topping songs and has earned him six BET Award nominations. Brown’s latest singles remain at the top of the radio charts. “Look At Me Now” (?Click to listen) featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes continues its reign at No. 1 for the sixth consecutive week on the Mediabase Rhythmic singles chart and after spending seven weeks at No.1 on the Mediabase Urban chart it still remains a Top 5 staple. “She Ain’t You” (?Click to listen) is currently in the Top 10 on both the Mediabase Rhythmic and Urban chart and both songs have a combined digital and mobile sales of 2.4 million.
Brown will be performing four songs on the Today Show’s Summer Outdoor Summer Concert Series in support of F.A.M.E. on July 15th. Three of the songs will be live during the broadcast and a fourth will be taped to run exclusively on The Today Show’s website.
The BET Awards recently announced their 2011 nominations and Chris leads the field with six nominations. The 23-year old will vie for honors in the Best Male R&B Artist, Best Collaboration (where he has two nominations), Video of the Year, Viewers Choice and Best Actor categories.
Brown recently wrapped the video (directed by Colin Tilley) for his upcoming single “Next To You,” (?Click to listen) featuring Justin Bieber.
F.A.M.E. has spawned three consecutive No.1 singles. Brown co-wrote the majority of the gold-certified album, the follow-up to his 2X GRAMMY-nominated 2009 album, Graffiti. His writing talents can also be heard on the upcoming Joe Jonas single “See No More” which Brown co-wrote with Jonas.
