WGCI, V103, and Inspiration 1390AM are hosting Election Day parties for its listeners on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Through a series of strategic messages each station has offered the community detailed information on: voter registration, voting procedures, early voting, absentee voting, voting locations and other critical information regarding the voting process for this election.
WGCI, V103 and Inspiration 1390AM will saturate the Chicagoland community with Election Day parties hosted by radio personalities, music by live DJ’s, and provide its listeners with a place to watch the results.
Radio personalities, UB Rodriguez and Chris Michaels from WGCI along with News Director, Ty Wansley from WGCI, V103 and Inspiration 1390 will be on-site at the Election Night Watch Party at McCormick Place.
WGCI Election Day party will be hosted by Al B. Sylk with music by DJ 33 1/3 at Leona’s on 9156 Stony Island in Chicago from 5-10pm.
V103 will host “Second Time “˜Round Election Party” with Ramonski Luv and Joe Soto from The Real Show at the Legacy on 119th & Loomis in Chicago from 6-10pm with music by DJ Eric “ET” Taylor.
Inspiration 1390 listeners are encouraged to watch the results at Rainbow PUSH in the Community Hall from 6-10pm at 930 E. 50th Street in Chicago. Angela Martin of The John Hannah Morning Show, Effie Rolfe, Marcella Jones and Gerald Montgomery will host this event that will feature a performance by national recording artist Lemmie Battles and Dana Divine along with live music by DJ Al Holmes.
