G. Garvin, celebrity chef, has his latest series titled Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin: Celebrity Dish debuting on TV One as part of their upcoming Lifestyle Zone block on Sunday night, beginning Memorial Day Weekend. G. Garvin will mix it up in the kitchen with celebrities such as Elise Neal, NY Giants Antonio Pierce, and R&B singers Letoya Luckett and Musiq Soulchild. Also part of TV One’s new Lifestyle Zone block: Mikki Taylor, Essence Magazine’s Beauty Director/Cover Editor and former lifestyle coach/judge on VH-1’s Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School, hosts a new season of Makeover Manor where she and her team of well-respected A-list experts, such as health and nutrition guru Dr. Ro, makeup artists Sam Fine and Eric Ferrell, and wardrobe stylist Pamela Macklin, work with different guests each week to help transform them, from the inside-out into confident, self-loving women. The first episode will feature actress/comedienne Kym Whitley receiving a red-carpet makeover, followed by episodes of everyday women such as a police offer and single mother who spends all of her time taking care of others with nothing left for herself.
