CBS Radio Top 40 WDZH 98.7 AMP Radio/Detroit PD Tim Rainey was forced to take a leave of absence from the station after his DUI conviction. Rainey was convicted of a second DUI and was sentenced by the court to serve 2 months and 29 days. His prior conviction in Hamilton County, Indiana occurred when he was the Program Director at RADIO ONE Top 40 WNOU. Tim Rainey had just relocated to Detroit in March of 2011. It is a known fact that one in three DUI convictions involves someone who is a second offender. We hope that Mr. Rainey can get it together.
