Tom Joyner’s video thanking listeners for their support in getting his radio show back on the air in Chicago appears to be a bit “decorated” but he actually never says they did it, he eludes to it though… and he never says “We are paying for the time on the station” now that its been revealed Tom is brokering the time on Soul 106.3. Do you think this is funny? Why? Do you have a habit of laughing at sh… like this? (laugh) or do you think Tom is waiting for the press to die down? The papers in Chicago actually published that he was paying for the time..

It’s a shame that in the third largest radio market in the US that they have to get Steve Harvey and Tom Joyner to do morning drive. I have nothing against these brothers, I think they both are good at what they do. Where the problem comes in is what are the PD’s saying there isn’t any talent in Chicago good enough to handle the morning drive slot? As for Tom Joyner he should really be ashamed having been born and raised in Chicago also where I received my training to begin a career in radio broadcasting many years ago. I can say that Chicago radio has been on the decline since the mid 80′s and still is.
I understand how you feel, however Tom Joyner has done so much for the radio community. His show helps to inform us and that is an important commodity. We can have all the music of today but we need information. I hope before Tom retires he will educate someone how to do the job as well as he does. It not always about the music. Tom just has a good format.
