Wow, looks like Michael Jackson, even in death, has scored again. AEG was pissed about the advance they gave him that they will not be able to get back (unless they sue his estate depending on the terms) but they may even MAKE money based on the ticket sales now. The company says they were heavily insured, which means Jackson’s death will give them a return on their investment but to their advantage it is estimated that at least 40% of the people who purchased tickets want to keep them as souvenirs. Several people have tried to get their money back but are asking to keep the actual ticket and AEG is saying a flat out “NO, who gives you a refund and allows you to keep the merchandise.” They have a point. The ticket buyers are in a tether. They may be giving back something that may be worth much more than they paid for it in years to come.

I understand that people don’t get refunds and to keep the merchandise but in this case the merchandise purchased was a ticket which allowed you entry into a concert. these lenticular tickets are not the merchandise on their own. i would understand a charge being made but not the full price. Randy Phillips should step down as ceo of AEG for misleading people that he cares.
I’ll keep the tickets. Keepsakes.
The way i see it, it’s part of history.
Even if he hadn’t died and the concert did come off – I would have probably kept the tickets any way——just because.
RIP MJ

finally got them at about 9 after waiting in queues that lasted sooo long! Who else has
