OH NO: AJC Reporter Attacks Kevin Ross for Jennifer Hudson Story
Editor's Note: The issue is settled but I wrote this before it happened.
Before I address this let me show you his quote about me:
"... a Peach Buzz item for Monday.) Sonia had no clue about the online buzz around the album cover so I know she didn’t ask about that.
Kev Ross, who readily agreed to the restrictions, slagged me in his blog radiofacts.com. I’m not really sure who Kev Ross is but it’s fairly clear he’s not a real journalist. And I argued with the publicist, not the performer. Plus, I don’t think the question about her album cover is “embarrassing” at all. But here’s his take on it:
I have never been one to argue or ask embarrassing questions to a performer but apparently The Atlanta Journal and Constitution’s Radio reporter felt, I surmised, that since he worked for the AJC, he had the right to ask whatever he wanted after we were instructed on what not to ask, which I thought was more than reasonable. He lost his press credential on the spot and got kicked out (ouch)."
I know many of you have never heard of this guy. His name is Rodney Ho and he is the radio and TV reporter for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution. A paper I have not read in two years. At the event that night, he was very eager to make sure people knew he was there as he laughed loudly on his cell phone while typing away on his computer (dont' you hate when people do that?) Before I came to Atlanta, I had never heard of him so the fact that he does not know who I am after 20 years of serving the industry on a national level lets me know how much HE really knows about journalism and/or black radio and music. You will be happy to know I was kind in my post on the AJC blog but I wanted to give him something that he so greatly craves.. national attention from real industry people. Here's your 15 minutes to catch up Rodney... make it work!

Yung Berg Visits WENZ Sam Sylk Show (pic)
OH NO: "Trashman" (video nut) arrested in NY
I've actually run a few of his videos on Radio Facts' Blog where he threatened to kill Wendy Williams and others. He didn't seem to have a problem threatening people like Wendy but when you say you have poisoned a corporations baby food jars apparently, all hell breaks loose. The 42 year old was arrested when feds investigated where the videos were coming from and he faces 10 years in prison.
Bernie Mac is NOT dead (but he is in very critical condition)

YIKES/WHAT IN DE FOOK!: Aretha Franklin AGAIN....
I am at a total loss for wordage when I look at this picture. Why just this past week I gave Aunt Reef credit for dropping a few pounds. Now it looks like she's been inhaling Banana Pudding again. Her boyfriend, yes I said "boyfriend" is in the background with the striped shirt on.
