WHAT: VIBE and MySpace will host a special event on Monday, November 24th at the The Knitting Factory in New York City to celebrate Plies’ first-ever VIBE cover
for the magazine’s December 2008 issue. In this month’s cover story, VIBE takes and in-depth look at the life and career of the artist the magazine declares
“the future of rap.â€
The event will feature a special live performance by Plies – his first-ever concert in New York City – as he prepares to debut his highly anticipated third
album, DA REALIST, on December 16th.
In less than two years, Plies has exceeded expectations of any new artist. His second album, DEFINITION OF REAL, which features the #1 single “Bust It
