Inaugural DC PPM Ratings Spell Good News for the Russ Parr Morning Show

The nationally syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show scored big when Arbitron recently released it’s new PPM in the Washington DC market. Portable People Meter, also know as PPM, is the new electronic system that measures consumer listening habits to radio stations nationwide. It was developed by Arbitron and will be rolled out in the top 50 metro markets over the next two years.

The Russ Parr Morning Show was the only urban morning show to register an increase in this first PPM release for the Washington DC market. While going from diary to PPM the good news for the talented Russ Parr team didn’t stop there. Other impressive facts include:

Demo % Inc. Rank

2. Persons 12-24 +34% #1
3. Adults 18-24 +40% #1

The Russ Parr Morning Show is a product of Radio One, the largest African American group owner of radio stations in the country. It is marketed, sold and distributed nationwide, as a result of a strategic relationship with AURN, the largest African American owned radio network company in the country. The Russ Parr Morning Show can be heard on twenty-three stations in thirty-six markets throughout the United States.
