Rapper Warren G – real name Warren Griffin III – was arrested in Hollywood on Sunday on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, according to the L.A. Times.
The “Regulater” hitmaker was riding in a car driven by Ryan Butler when they were pulled over about 1:40 a.m. on suspicion of running a red light near Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Officer Sara Faden. Officers reportedly searched the car and found enough marijuana to arrest both men for possession with intent to sell. Faden says she did not know the exact amount seized. Griffin and Butler each posted $20,000 bail; they were released Sunday morning.
